Riksgränsen Banked Slalom 2024 | 16-19 maj

RBS as we call it, celebrates its 11th edition this year. This competition is created for dedicated snowboarders and aims to bring the snowboarding community together for a memorable weekend in Riksgränsen. Thanks to its ideal location just below the main chairlift, the crowd can watch and cheer on the participants during the competition. There is probably no better way to enjoy the end of the season than to participate in the competition or be there to support the riders. Join the journey! About the competition

We bring together generations of snowboarders in a unique way in a spectacular place. For some it is the first time they are back since they were children in the 90’s, others bring their children to experience the light and atmosphere with them, but most of us see this as something that speaks to their soul as a snowboarder. Riksgränsen Banked Slalom is a melting pot for Scandinavian snowboarding where we create new visions and resurrect old legends.

Flight
Train
Car

By flight

By flight – By plane you get from Stockholm to Kiruna in about 1.5 hours and then you take a bus, train or car on to Riksgränsen. The transfer between Kiruna and Riksgränsen takes about 1.5 hours, so it takes no more than about four hours from Stockholm to Riksgränsen.

By train

By train – Get on the train in the evening in Stockholm or Gothenburg and wake up in a fantastic mountain environment the next day. You arrive at Riksgränsen at lunchtime. VY operates the route and the journey between Stockholm and Riksgränsen takes approximately 18 hours. From the train station in Riksgränsen it is only 100 meters to Hotell Riksgränsen. By car

By car – Drive E4 north, turn left in Töre and then continue on E10 towards Kiruna and Narvik. You will find us just before the Norwegian border.
