AIRPLANE
The airplane departs from Stockholm and arrives in Kiruna after approximately 90 minutes, after which you need to go by transfer bus, train or car to Riksgränsen. The transfer between Kiruna and Riksgränsen also takes about 90 minutes, so the total trip takes about 4 hours between Stockholm and Björkliden.

TRAIN
Step onboard the train in Stockholm or Gothenburg at night and wake up amidst the fantastic mountain scenery the next day. You will reach Riksgränsen by lunch time. VY runs the leg between Stockholm and Riksgränsen, which takes approximately 18 hours. The train station is literally located in the middle of the village and it’s only a short step down to Hotel Riksgränsen.
CAR
While driving north on the E4 highway, turn left at Töre and take the E10 highway towards Kiruna and Narvik. You will find us just before you reach the Norwegian border.
TAXI
Taxi Kiruna runs between Kiruna and Björkliden.
At Kiruna airport you can rent a car and if you stay with us in Riksgränsen you also get a 10% discount at AVIS. State that you are staying with us at the time of booking.

FREE TRANSFER BUS
Lapland Resorts’ transfer bus takes you between Riksgränsen and Björkliden, so make sure to experience both ski resorts during your visit with us! The transfer bus is free when you show your valid ski pass.
