Nine kilometer’s north of Björkliden, inside the renowned Låktatjåkko Mountain Lodge is Sweden’s highest restaurant and bar; a unique experience that no one should miss out on. Here we welcome you to discover an inspiring culinary undertaking and truly outstanding innovations in food preparation, such as the one and only, world famous, Låkta waffle (amongst others).

High dining experience

Sweden’s highest restaurant and bar. In the middle of two mountain peaks in no man’s land, 1228 meters above sea level, you will find the restaurant you did not think existed.

If you want a dining experience, we recommend that you pre-order our two course dinner and if you come here at lunchtime, we suggest the famous “Låkta waffle” and at the bar you will find a well-stocked selection of drinks.

For more info & reservations contact us by telephone or email: +46 (0) 980 641 00, reservations@laplandresorts.se

NB!
There is limited phone reception and network connection up in the mountains and also at Låktatjåkko Mountain Lodge. In order to this we recommend you to bring your credit card, since Swish is not reliable as a payment method up here.

Cat Ski during the Winter Season

If you’re not feeling like making the journey by skis, convenient transportation is available with our tracked vehicle which can shuttle you up to Låktatjåkko mountain station comfortably, not to mention the excellent views. The Cat stays for about an hour before returning back to Björkliden.

The Cat departs from Hotell Fjället. If there are four or fewer guests in the group, the journey will entail a snowmobile and tobaggen instead, and we are happy to provide helmets and snow gear for the journey. There are child friendly sleds available upon request, though dogs are unfortunately not permitted on the sleds or the Cat.

Only during the winter season.
