Arctic Midsummer in Riksgränsen

Celebrating Midsummer in Riksgränsen is all about embracing the adventure exactly as it is served in the moment. Whether we carry skis on our shoulders or boots on our feet, the dance around the Midsummer pole, the golden midnight sun, and the legendary sense of community are always guaranteed. Here, we don’t just celebrate a holiday – we celebrate being here, in the heart of the elements, where no two years are ever the same.

Midsummer in Riksgränsen – Where tradition meets the midnight sun

Experience a Midsummer like no other – a place where ski boots are as essential as the pickled herring, and where the adventure never takes a break.

While the rest of the country dresses the Midsummer pole in greenery, we do it our own way – with skis on our feet and the mountain wind in our faces. Midsummer in Riksgränsen is not just a holiday; it is a legendary experience where the last runs of winter meet the eternal light of summer. Here, we celebrate under a sun that never sets, in an environment where the boundary between seasons is blurred.

A celebration beyond the ordinary

Imagine the classic “ski boot dance” around the Midsummer pole, where laughter and community echo between the mountain slopes.

During the day, we enjoy skiing on soft summer slopes, and as evening approaches, a traditional Midsummer buffet is served. But the celebration doesn’t end when the sun begins to lower; instead, we take the lift back up to experience the magic of skiing under the golden glow of the midnight sun – a sight that remains in your memory forever.

Community at the end of the road

Whether you are here to carve the last turns of the season or simply to soak up the unique atmosphere in the lobby bar, Midsummer with us is a tribute to the free life. It is a time to gather friends, enjoy a coffee at Pelikanhyllan, and indulge in everything from refreshing drinks to late-night snacks in good company.

Even though we would love to, we cannot control the weather. Therefore, deviations and changes may occur, and we cannot guarantee that the ski slopes will be open. But please join us in praying to the weather gods for some truly great Midsummer skiing again this year!
