TEDDYBEARS SOUNDSYSTEM
Teddybears is one of Sweden’s most significant and original groups. Mixing genres is not new today, but when Teddybears – after a few years as a punk rock band – introduced their genre-crossing sound of hip-hop, pop, rock, dancehall, and electronic music, they were far ahead of their time. In the 90s and even into the 2000s, it was considered important to be “authentic” and “real,” and the media and music industry didn’t know how to handle groups that stood out from the norms. Despite a freer music climate now, there is still no one who sounds like Teddybears.

If you wish to stay in the nearby area, the Kåppas cottage village in Björkliden is open year-round for booking. Please note that no transfers will be available between Björkliden and Riksgränsen after May 5th.
