By plane, you can travel from Stockholm to Kiruna in about 90 minutes. From Kiruna, you can continue your journey to Riksgränsen by either bus, train, or car. The transfer between Kiruna and Riksgränsen also takes around 90 minutes, so it takes no more than about four hours from Stockholm to Riksgränsen.

Board the train in the evening in Stockholm or Gothenburg and wake up in a fantastic mountain environment the next day. You arrive in Riksgränsen around lunchtime. SJ operates the route, and the journey between Stockholm and Riksgränsen takes about 18 hours. From the train station in Riksgränsen, it’s only a few hundred meters to Hotel Fjället.

Drive north on E4, turn left in Töre, and then continue on E10 towards Kiruna and Narvik. You’ll find us just before the Norwegian border.
