GET HERE BY FLIGHT
By plane, you can travel from Stockholm to Kiruna in about 90 minutes. From Kiruna, you can continue your journey to Björkliden by either bus, train, or car. The transfer between Kiruna and Björkliden also takes around 90 minutes, so it takes no more than about four hours from Stockholm to Björkliden.

Kiruna Buss operates the route from Kiruna Airport to both Björkliden and Riksgränsen. Remember to book your transfer in advance.

GET HERE BY TRAIN
Board the train in the evening in Stockholm or Gothenburg and wake up in a fantastic mountain environment the next day. You arrive in Björkliden around lunchtime. VY Sverige operates the route, and the journey between Stockholm and Björkliden takes about 18 hours. From the train station in Björkliden, it’s only a few hundred meters to Hotel Fjället.
GET HERE BY CAR
Drive north on E4, turn left in Töre, and then continue on E10 towards Kiruna and Narvik. You’ll find us just before the Norwegian border.
Taxi Kiruna operates between Kiruna and Björkliden/Riksgränsen. Book a taxi through their website.
CAR RENTAL IN KIRUNA
At Kiruna Airport, you can rent a car. If you stay with us in Riksgränsen, you also receive a 10% discount with AVIS. When making your reservation, please provide the code S275100 – either by phone or online. Remember that you cannot use the discount code afterwards, only at the time of booking.

Lapland Resorts’ transfer bus takes you between Riksgränsen and Björkliden, so make sure to experience both ski resorts during your visit with us! The transfer bus is free when you show your valid ski pass.
