Hire your own guide for a full day of adventure for up to six people! You start from Riksgränsen and can choose to either let your guide show you the best runs for the day in Riksgränsen's ski system or take you out for untouched turns on a summit tour in the local area.
Private peak tour guide - full day
The area around Riksgränsen and towards Norway is one of the country's best for summit touring, with countless really good tours where the climb starts almost directly from the road. There are lots of great rides and cool inspiration to be found here, and the views are like something out of a fairy tale, with fjords, horizons and mountain peaks as far as the eye can see. Going up the mountain at a leisurely pace, enjoying the scenery along the way and then choosing your own route down is hard to beat for many if you like mountains, skiing and sweating a little! The level of the tour is determined by the physical shape and ambitions of the group, and with a private guide you get a greater opportunity to influence your day. The length of the tour varies, we are gone about 5-7 hours per day.
Private off-piste guide - full day
Riksgränsen offers plenty of snow, boundless skiing and natural formations in a playful landscape. Do you want to explore these unique features of the loose snow off-piste with a private guide who can customize the day according to your wishes and ambitions? Then a tour with a private off-piste guide is for you! Why not bring your whole group of friends while you're at it? You can be up to six people in the same private group!
We show you the best runs that can be accessed by lift, and during the activity you will be taken to places such as Hamres, Rimfors, Sheriffen, Branten and Uffes vägg, but the possibilities are many and the guide adapts the tour to your curiosity and your wishes. The off-piste areas in Riksgränsen are very easily accessible and therefore have the advantage that no long stacks are required to get back to the system, while the mountain is facing several directions, which means that you can often find pockets of untouched snow.

Prerequisite for summit tour: You should be in good shape to walk uphill for a few hours
Packing list for the summit: Helmet (mandatory), ski goggles, sunglasses, shell jacket, thermal clothing (thick down jacket, heavy sweater or similar), hat, mittens, buff, lunch, water, hot drinks and snacks, as well as skis, poles, crampons and boots
Other: Lift pass not included (needed for off-piste guiding). Specific randonée/summit tour equipment is needed and not included (needed for summit tour). The area around Riksgränsen, stretching over the border into Norway, is one of the best spots in Sweden for ski touring! Here you will find an endless variety of top-class tours - many of them starting almost right from the roadside. The area offers stunning descents, inspiring terrain, and views that look like they've been pulled from a fairytale: fjords, wide-open horizons, and snow-covered peaks as far as the eye can see. Taking it slow on the way up, soaking in the mountain scenery, and then choosing your own line down - that's pure joy if you like mountains, skiing and a bit of a workout. With a private guide, we can tailor he day for your group's wishes and ambition, and you get a good chance to get involved in the planning of the day. The length of the tours vary between 5-7 hours per day.
Private off-piste guide - full day
In Riksgränsen we have plenty of snow, skiing across country borders and natural formations in a playful landscape. Would you like to discover this unique nature in the fresh snow outside the pistes with a private guide who will tailor the day after your wishes and amibitions? Then a tour with a private off-piste guide is for you! And why not bring the whole crew of friends? Our private guides can take up to six people in the same group!
We show you the best runs that can be reached by lift, and you will get the chance to ski lines like Hamres, Rimfors, Sheriffen, Branten and Uffes vägg, but the possibilities are endless as the guide adapts the day after your curiosity and wishes. The off-piste areas in Riksgränsen are very easily accessible, which gives us the benefit of not having to cross many flat parts before we get back to the lifts. The best lines on the mountain is also in a number of different aspects, which means we can often find pockets with soft, untouched snow.

Prerequisites for ski touring: You should be in good physical condition to be able to hike uphill for a few hours
What to bring for ski touring: Helmet (required), ski goggles, sunglasses, shell jacket, warm mid-layers (like a thick down jacket or sweater), hat, gloves, neck gaiter/buff, lunch, water, hot drink and snacks, as well as skis, poles, climbing skins and touring boots
Please note: Ski pass is not included (off-piste guiding). Touring-specific equipment (randonée gear) is required, but not included (for ski touring). Good to know
Each activity has a level of difficulty described below. We always adapt the pace to the group to ensure everyone has a great experience.
Relaxing: this is not exhausting at all, on the contrary!
Slow pace: Can be compared to a light walk. As a participant, you can often adapt the effort to your own level.
Moderate: This level of exertion requires a little more from you as a participant. At this level, it is more often a matter of endurance rather than great physical effort, but we recommend a normal level of fitness.
Demanding: This level often requires both willpower and higher physical fitness. We recommend that you talk to our knowledgeable staff in the sports shop if you are unsure.
Quite a challenge: This level requires a lot from you as a participant. You should be both strong and confident behind the brow bone - at this level we will always ensure your suitability before completing the activity.
Depending on the activity, breaks may or may not be included, but we can always make sure to take a break if you need to.
Once booked, the activity will be entered into our system and you will receive a confirmation of your booking. The booking confirmation will give you more information.
On our guided activities we have no specific cancellation protection, but all activities that are canceled 29 days from the date of the activity's implementation give a full refund, up to 24h before implementation, 10% refund is given. Within 24h or in case of no-show, no refund will be given unless otherwise stated as payment is binding for example for specific courses.
