Book the Snowcat to Låkta

NOTE! The Snowcat departs from Björkliden.

The Snowcat is active between February 20th and March 5th.

There are many ways to get up the mountain. But one of the most memorable is with our trusted old workhorse, the Snowcat. From the heart of Björkliden, right outside the sports shop, a trip begins that is more than just transportation. It’s an experience.

Lean back and feel as we slowly but surely make our way higher, above the tree line. The journey up to Låkta is an exclusive ride of about 1.5 hours through a winter landscape that few get to experience. Once you reach the top, a breathtaking view of majestic mountains opens up. A perfect starting point for adventure, or just a moment of silence away from everyday life.
